What you’ll do on a typical day:Lead, execute, and deliver XPO’s most important Oracle ERP finance-driven projectsFollow standard project methodology and a defined SDLC process to lead the project team in creating industry-changing applications for the 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) industryManage all aspects of an SDLC process including project timelines, scope, budgets, resources, and deliveryCoordinate with all business and IT stakeholders to deliver projectsWork directly with the PMO to continually improve the project methodology, SDLC process, deliverable templates, etc.
Act as mentor and coach to other project managers on the team
What you need to succeed at XPO:
At a minimum, you’ll need:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or electrical engineeringPMP certified10 years of experience leading, driving, and delivering Tier 1 ERP projects with multiple integrated work streams for the entire SDLC processProven experience managing ERP projects using waterfall and agile methodologies
It’d be great if you also have:Experience leading implementations of Oracle EBSWorked in the IT/Finance area of a logistics and or supply chain organizationExperience in a fast-paced, startup environmentExcellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and drive a team of business and IT professionals Impeccable verbal and written communications skills to work effectively with senior stakeholders Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills with ability to identify and resolve problems
